How many manual driving lessons will I need?
It depends on how often you practise and whether you have driven before. The DVSA's Ready to Pass campaign puts the average at around 45 hours of professional lessons plus 22 hours of private practice. Some learners need fewer, some need more, and your instructor will give you an honest view after your first few lessons. If you need your licence quickly, an intensive driving course condenses the hours into a few weeks.
Getting ready for your driving test in Doncaster
