Clear prices, no joining fees

Pay as you go from £60 for a 1.5 hour manual lesson and £65 for automatic, or book a package of hours and pay less per hour. No joining fee. Intensive courses are quoted after a free assessment drive, because the honest price depends on how much driving you have already done.

Pay as you go

No contract and no joining fee. Pay for each lesson on the day by card, cash or bank transfer.

Block bookings

The packages above are our block rates. The more hours you book, the less you pay per hour.

Motability and grants

Motability Scheme customers are welcome. The Motability Foundation may fund up to 40 hours of lessons once you have passed your theory test, subject to a means test.

Getting the most from your lessons

A few things worth knowing before you choose between pay as you go and a package.

How many hours will I need?

Everyone learns at a different pace, so there is no fixed number. Your instructor will give you an honest estimate after your first lesson and update it as you progress, so you are never paying for hours you do not need.

Pay as you go or a package?

Pay as you go suits you if you are not yet sure how many lessons you will need. A package makes sense once you know you will be learning for a while, because the hourly rate is lower. Many learners book a single lesson first and move to a package afterwards.

Test fees

Our prices cover tuition only. You book and pay for the theory test and the practical driving test with DVSA. GOV.UK lists the current driving test fees.
