Who we are

This website is run by Alma Driving School LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales (number OC452937), registered office 68 Wakelam Drive, Armthorpe, Doncaster, DN3 2FR. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us about it by email at info@almadrivingschool.co.uk or by phone on 07402 034084.

What we collect

• Callback requests: your name, phone number, postcode, the lessons you are interested in, your instructor preference and anything you write in the notes box.
• Calls and messages: what you tell us when you phone, email or message us on WhatsApp. When you use a WhatsApp button on this site, a short reference code is added to your message so we can tell which page you came from.
• Advert click reference: only if you accept cookies, the reference Google Ads adds to the web address when you click one of our adverts, so we can tell whether that advert led to an enquiry or a booking.
• Website use: only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics records how pages are used. It does not tell us who you are.
• Pupils: if you book lessons, the details we need to teach you and, if you ask us to, book your driving test, such as your pick-up address and provisional licence number.

How we use it and why

• To reply to you and arrange lessons, because you asked us to (steps before entering a contract, and then the contract itself).
• To measure which adverts and pages bring enquiries, based on your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time on our cookies page.
• To keep business and accounting records we are required to keep by law.

We do not sell your information or use it for automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with

• Our instructors, so they can contact and teach you.
• Service providers who run our systems for us: Vercel (website hosting), FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which passes callback requests from this website to our email inbox, Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads, only when you have accepted cookies) and WhatsApp when you choose to message us there.
• The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), when we book a test for you.

Some of these providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

• Callback requests that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months.
• Pupil and payment records: up to 6 years after your last lesson, for accounting purposes.
• The advert click reference in your browser: 90 days, or until you choose Reject.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@almadrivingschool.co.uk and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We will update this page if the way we use information changes. Last updated 24 October 2026.
