Nick in their own words
I'm Nick, a driving instructor at Alma Driving School in Doncaster.
I became an instructor because I wanted a career working with people, helping them build confidence in a skill they'll use for the rest of their lives.
For me, learning to drive means understanding the road, spotting hazards early and making good decisions, not just learning what you need to pass. I want my pupils to understand why they're doing something, not just what to do.
My lessons are calm and relaxed, a place where you can ask questions and make mistakes without unnecessary pressure. One of the best parts of teaching is seeing confidence grow from lesson to lesson, as a manoeuvre or a busy junction that once felt impossible starts to feel natural.
From Google reviews
“Had some lessons with Nick from Alma, I started out with low to no confidence and thanks to him it’s now sky rocketed and I’m able to drive without shaking and almost throwing up. He’s very relaxed and sends out good vibes as he explains what needs to be done, where you went wrong and where you went right. I’d recommend Nick to anyone who’s starting out to drive or just needs some refreshes/confidence boosting lessons.”
There'll be easier lessons and harder ones, and probably the odd stall too. That's all part of learning, and I'll support you every step of the way.
