I'm Loredana, co-founder of Alma Driving School, a family business I'm incredibly proud to have built in Doncaster around one simple idea: learning to drive should be about much more than passing a test.
Every student arrives with a different personality and a different level of confidence. Some are excited, some are nervous, some have had a bad experience before, and some genuinely believe they will never be able to do it. My job is to understand the person first, then teach the driver.
I particularly enjoy working with nervous learners. Some people need more explanation, some need reassurance, some need to be challenged, and some simply need someone patient enough to let them work things out. Watching someone go from doubting every decision to being calm and capable behind the wheel never gets old.
What I want every Alma student to feel
That their lesson is somewhere they can make mistakes without being judged. Somewhere they can ask the same question twice. Somewhere a difficult lesson doesn't mean they're a bad driver. Confidence isn't something I expect you to arrive with. It's something we build together.
