Alexandru in their own words
I'm Alexandru, co-founder, manager and driving instructor at Alma Driving School in Doncaster. Driving has always been a genuine passion of mine, and one of the best things about teaching is passing that enjoyment on.
Learning to drive shouldn't feel like something you have to endure. We'll work hard and make sure you're properly prepared, but I also want you to enjoy getting there.
I've taught complete beginners, nervous learners and people who simply needed a different approach before it finally clicked. One of the best parts of the job is watching someone go from dreading lessons to looking forward to them.
People learn better when they're relaxed, so there's always room for conversation and a bit of fun in the car. You should feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and being yourself. Some lessons will challenge you, some will make you laugh, and I hope plenty will be memories you still smile about after you've passed.
Our students regularly pass first time with very few faults. But what means most to me is hearing that they actually enjoyed their lessons.
Passing your test is a great moment. Enjoying the journey that gets you there makes it even better.
