Hi, I'm Alexandru Fonoage, though most people know me as FoFo. I'm a driving instructor at Alma Driving School in Doncaster, and a husband and proud dad to a three-year-old daughter.

I'm calm, patient and approachable, and I really enjoy helping people become confident behind the wheel. Every learner is different, so I adapt my teaching to your personality, experience and pace.

I particularly enjoy working with nervous or less confident learners. You'll never feel rushed or under pressure with me.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and keeping active. I'm a big football fan, and I enjoy the gym, music, films and travelling.

How lessons with FoFo work

FoFo picks you up from home, college or work anywhere we cover in Doncaster, in a dual-controlled car. Lessons last 1.5 or 2 hours, and Alma offers evening and weekend lessons as well as daytime slots, so ask about FoFo's current availability when you get in touch.

Your first lesson starts wherever you are up to. Complete beginners start on quiet streets. If you have driven before, the lesson starts with a short drive so FoFo can see what to work on next. Before your test, a mock driving test shows you exactly where you stand.

Can I ask for FoFo as my instructor?

Yes. Call 07402 034084 or send a WhatsApp message and ask for FoFo. We will check FoFo's diary against the times you can drive, and if it is full we will suggest another instructor who teaches the same lessons.
